Watkinson comes up big for Soroka
It looks like Lee Watkinson's impressive performance at The Main Event at the WSOP is going to be enough to get Soroka into the big money. The Omaha specialist will be locked in for no less than $525K when play resumes at tomorrow's final table. Other League players cashing at the Big One were:
Scotty Nguyen: $476,926
Daniel Alaei: $333,490
David Levi: $58,570
Hasan Habib: $39,445
Gavin Smith: $20,320
UNOFFICIALLY:
Soroka: > $1,479,449
Saint: $990,623
JTL: $986,817
Loomis: $878,581
SCPJ: $857,280
Ken: $779,192
Mole: $761,124
House: $717,806
Mendenhallerballers: $699,932
Jersey Joe: $675,870
Maureen: $275,530
I forget who did and who didn't have Gavin Smith, but I think at this point it matters not.
I am at an internet kiosk at a Marriott in Portland, OR right now with limited time so I'll be back over the weekend to wrap this whole thing up and report on any poker that gets played over the week.
Thanks to everyone who played and we'll see you next year!
